This car was built in
the late Sixties, early Seventies. We believe the Chassis is
probably Riley 12/4 from the mid-thirties (shortened). This
has been researched using Beaulieu Motor Museum's Information
Library.
Hand Crafted Aluminium
with excellent atention to detail, which includes good size doors -
providing easy access - plus very useful secure boot space.
The Dashboard and
Steering Wheel are constructed of Hardwood. The Interior is
Leather. No Hood or Tonneau Cover, however I am in the process
of adapting a Hood Frame (early stages at the moment).
The Running Gear i.e.
Engine and 5 speed Gearbox, are Alfa Romeo from the 60's or 70's
also. Instruments are also Alfa Romeo.
The Back Axle is that
which came with the Riley Chassis plus the Rear Dampers, Steering
Box Drag Link, Front Axle and Hydraulic Brakes are all Riley.
The front Shock
Absorbers are adjustable Andres with Friction Pads.
She's fitted with
1960's Wire Wheels, probably Austin Healey 100/6, with newish 185 x
15 Michelin Tyres.
The car has never been
registered for Road Use but I shall shortly be putting her through
an MOT and completing Registration.
